This collaboration formalizes a relationship that began years ago through our successful use of FUJIFILM’s human iPSC-derived neurons in electrophysiology studies. Most notably, we showcased data generated using FUJIFILM iCell GlutaNeurons cells in our 2024 poster presentation at the Society for Neuroscience (SfN) annual meeting, demonstrating their reliability and value for advancing human-relevant research.
This partnership represents a strategic alliance that combines FUJIFILM’s Cellular Dynamics’ excellence in human iPSC-derived cell technology with Neuroservices-Alliance’s deep expertise in electrophysiology. Together, we join forces to deliver an integrated offering that bridges advanced cell models with state-of-the-art CNS functional assays, providing clients with more predictive, translational, and human-relevant insights for their preclinical research programs.
The integration of human iPSC-derived neurons into our workflows also expands opportunities for research models that complement traditional in vivo studies. By leveraging these human-based systems, we can refine experimental approaches and reduce the overall need for animal testing while maintaining the scientific rigor required for meaningful CNS discovery. This direction aligns with ongoing initiatives from both the NIH Foundation and the U.S. FDA, which are actively promoting the development and adoption of alternative testing methods to enhance translational relevance.
